Brown granted bail, judge orders mental health evaluation
Free-agent receiver Antonio Brown made his first court appearance Friday for a felony burglary with battery charge after he was involved in an incident with a moving company.
After a "lengthy back-and-forth hearing," Brown was granted bail and his bond was set at $100,000, per ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.
The judge also ordered the 31-year-old to receive GPS monitoring, release his passport and guns, go through drug and alcohol testing, and undergo a mental health evaluation.
Brown turned himself in to Florida police on Thursday after being accused of throwing rocks at a moving truck, entering it from the driver's side, and attacking an employee.
According to court documents, the company was delivering the receiver's belongings from California, but the driver said Brown refused to pay the $4,000 fee. The two sides eventually reached an agreement regarding payment but another argument ensued shortly after the driver returned to drop off items.
Brown was not initially arrested following the incident. He remained in his home Tuesday, which prompted an arrest warrant.
