Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders and country music star Garth Brooks responded with humor after the singer caught some flak for sporting a No. 20 jersey last week.
Brooks posted a photo of himself on Instagram wearing Sanders' Lions jersey during his Feb. 22 concert at Ford Field, which some fans mistook as an endorsement for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in the 2020 election.
On Friday, Sanders jokingly asked Brooks to be his vice president.
Brooks accepted.
The Lions joined in on the fun too, creating a campaign poster for Sanders.
