The Los Angeles Chargers and wide receiver Travis Benjamin are mutually parting ways, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
The agreement means Benjamin will be a free agent when the new league year begins.
The nine-year pro spent the past four seasons with the Chargers but started only 16 games during that span.
Benjamin has been unable to top the career highs of 966 yards and five touchdowns he reached in 2015 while with the Cleveland Browns.
