Dana White pleads for Brady to stay with Patriots or sign with Raiders
UFC president Dana White only wants to see Tom Brady on one of two NFL teams in 2020.
Speaking on an Instagram live video on Wednesday, White and Brady briefly discussed the quarterback's pending free agency. The promotion's president first pleaded him to return to the New England Patriots before pitching the Las Vegas Raiders as a potential destination.
"First of all, I'm a Boston guy through and through," White said on the video. "I want you to (re-sign with) the Patriots. But let me make my last pitch. Las Vegas would love to have you here with the Raiders.
"The stadium, the facility is incredible," he continued. "The training facility that they have outside of Vegas is unbelievable. It's a 45-minute flight from L.A. Your kids and your family can live there, you can fly back and forth. We want you to come to the Raiders."
Brady had been linked to the Raiders as he approaches free agency for the first time in his career. The veteran signal-caller visited Las Vegas in January for UFC 246 and crossed paths with team owner Mark Davis.
"Obviously being where I've been for 20 years, it's been an amazing experience," Brady told White. "But I don't know what the future holds right now. I'm just trying to be patient through this process."
