Dana White: Kraft 'not happy with me' about Raiders pitch to Brady
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft didn't react well to UFC president Dana White suggesting Las Vegas as a possible destination for Tom Brady.
White spoke with Brady on Instagram Live on Wednesday, during which he pleaded for the pending free-agent quarterback to either stay with the Patriots or sign with the Las Vegas Raiders. The conversation made its way back to Kraft, who reached out to White.
"You know who called me this morning? Bob Kraft," White said Thursday on ESPN's "Always Late with Katie Nolan." "Was not happy with me ... I said, 'Mr. Kraft, now I said I want him to stay in Boston, but if Boston doesn't work out, I want him to come (to) Vegas.' And yeah, he was not happy with me. This thing is being blown out of proportion. I am being falsely accused here."
White, who once lived in Boston, reiterated that he wants Brady to return to the city and retire as a Patriot, but if that doesn't happen, Las Vegas is the next best option.
Brady is set to hit free agency on March 18.
