The NFL announced Tuesday the proposed rule changes submitted by teams ahead of the 2020 campaign - four of which came from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Most notably, the Eagles suggested that the rules should provide an alternative to onside kicks, such as a fourth-and-15 offensive play from the kicking team's 25-yard line.
Philadelphia also suggested that the league should restore preseason and regular-season overtime periods to 15 minutes (instead of 10) and minimize the impact of the OT coin toss.
The Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens also submitted potential rule changes.
The proposals will be given to the NFL Competition Committee later in March for review.
