The Los Angeles Chargers and free-agent defensive tackle Linval Joseph have agreed to a two-year, $17-million deal, a source told Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Joseph's new pact also features $2 million in incentives, added Garafolo.

The Minnesota Vikings released the two-time Pro Bowler last week.

Joseph, 31, racked up 44 total tackles, three sacks, and one forced fumble in 13 games last season. He'll replace departing free agent Brandon Mebane in the center of L.A.'s defense.
