The Washington Redskins are making disgruntled cornerback Quinton Dunbar available for trade, sources told Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.
Dunbar reportedly requested a trade or release in February when contract talks stalled after Ron Rivera became the team's new head coach. He had been discussing an extension with the previous regime in Washington.
Dunbar started 11 games last season, recording a career-high four interceptions and standing out in a Washington secondary that otherwise struggled.
The 27-year-old is due to receive a base salary of $3.25 million in 2020, the last year of his contract.
