The New York Giants and free-agent running back Dion Lewis have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.
It will be the fifth stop for the 5-foot-8 back as he enters his ninth season.
Lewis made his greatest impact as a member of the New England Patriots from 2015-17. He recorded career highs of 896 rushing yards, 1,110 scrimmage yards, and 10 total touchdowns in 2017 before leaving to join the Tennessee Titans in free agency.
With Tennesee, Lewis recorded 917 scrimmage yards in 2018 but then posted just 373 in 2019 while taking a back seat to Derrick Henry.
In New York, he's set for another reserve role behind star Saquon Barkley.
