The Green Bay Packers are expected to sign free-agent wide receiver Devin Funchess, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Terms of the deal have yet to be reported.
Funchess played in only one game for the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 due to a collarbone injury after inking a one-year deal. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Carolina Panthers.
The Packers have long searched for a No. 2 receiving option to complement star Davante Adams.
Funchess' best season came in 2017 when he caught 63 passes for 840 yards and eight touchdowns. The 25-year-old regressed the following year, finishing with 549 yards and four scores in two fewer appearances.
