Report: Rams, Chargers to share 'Hard Knocks' stage
HBO plans to make the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers the co-subjects of "Hard Knocks" if training camp takes place this summer, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Two teams have never been featured simultaneously on the docuseries, which gives viewers an intimate look at what an NFL training camp is like.
It remains to be seen whether camps will take place in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. The NFL has already been forced to make the draft virtual, while every other major North American sports league has gone on hiatus.
L.A.'s two clubs will share a new home in 2020, as they prepare to move into the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium.
The Rams were on "Hard Knocks" in 2016, their first season after relocating to Los Angeles from St. Louis. On the show, then-head coach Jeff Fisher infamously vowed not to go 7-9 - he wound up posting a 4-9 record before being fired.
The Chargers have never been featured on the show.
