Rob Gronkowski continues to leave the door open for an NFL return.

Asked about rumors he could reunite with Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, the former New England Patriots tight end said Monday he's "happy" in retirement but "you just never know."

"I'm feeling good right now, I'm happy where I'm at," Gronkowski said on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." "You just never know, man. You just never know. You never know. I'm not totally done."

Gronkowski has consistently refused to rule out returning to football ever since he retired following the 2018 season.

"I see Tom (Brady) throw a nice touchdown pass, I'm like, 'I wish that was me.' But that's a five-second itch," Gronkowski said last October. "It has to be a long, continuous itch, like every day, every week."

Gronkowski has been busy since hanging up his cleats. The 30-year-old worked as an analyst for FOX during the season before joining the WWE in March.

The Buccaneers aren't in desperate need of a tight end, with the productive duo of Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard topping the depth chart.

But with a two-year window in which to win with Brady, Tampa Bay will likely explore every avenue to find help for their new star quarterback.
