Tiger-Phil rematch involving Brady, Manning to air live on TNT
Another match between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson - this time including NFL legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning - will be broadcast live on TNT, its parent company, Turner Sports, confirmed Wednesday.
Manning and Brady will join Woods and Mickelson for a two-on-two competition called "The Match: Champions for Charity," with all donations and fundraising going toward COVID-19 relief.
Mickelson appeared to reveal the pairings on Wednesday night.
The showdown is planned for May, with more details to be revealed in the weeks ahead. Organizers are consulting with government and public health officials to ensure proper safety protocols will be followed.
The likely destination is Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Florida, reports The Action Network's Darren Rovell.
Woods and Mickelson went head-to-head in "The Match," a pay-per-view event held at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas in November 2018. Mickelson prevailed on the fourth playoff hole.
