Bill O'Brien's acting chops were on full display Friday night.

During the second night of the NFL draft, the Houston Texans coach appeared to go on a tirade as broadcast cameras showed him screaming at his computers. The video quickly went viral.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported that O'Brien's reaction stemmed from the Detroit Lions backing out of a trade for the 90th pick at the last minute. O'Brien had a different explanation, however.

"We were messing on the Zoom, myself and (Texans executive vice president of football operations Jack) Easterby and all the guys," O'Brien said, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop. "No, nothing agitating. I didn't ... I thought ... The camera's on the whole time. I don't know.

"We're just messing around on the Zoom. We're on the back patio here. We've done a lot of business on the back patio over the last couple months."

Lions general manager Bob Quinn said there was no trade to speak of.

"We talk to a lot of teams. When we're not on the clock, we talk to a bunch of teams and it's not just myself. We've got four or five people that make calls so I'm not sure what that was about. But yeah, we didn't have a trade," he said.
