NFL, Amazon renew TNF streaming deal through 2022
The NFL announced Wednesday that it has renewed its streaming deal with Amazon for Thursday Night Football games through the 2022 season, according to The Associated Press.
Amazon Prime Video and Twitch will stream 11 Thursday contests broadcast by FOX beginning during the 2020 campaign plus one Saturday game in the second half of the schedule.
"As our relationship has expanded, Amazon has become a trusted and valued partner of the NFL," Brian Rolapp, the NFL's chief media and business officer, said, according to Business Wire. "Extending this partnership around Thursday Night Football continues our critical mission of delivering NFL games to as many fans in as many ways as possible both in the United States and around the world."
The league and Amazon first partnered on Thursday broadcasts in 2017.
