Brady welcomes Eli to Twitter with reference to Super Bowls
Tom Brady welcomed Eli Manning to Twitter with an amusing reference to the pair of Super Bowls he lost to the retired New York Giants quarterback.
Welcome @EliManning, In typical fashion, you never showed up until the 4th quarter anyway ๐ https://t.co/Wbun1VS2A0

Manning joined Twitter on Saturday, breaking into the social media world after avoiding that section of the Internet throughout his playing career. He retired after the 2019 campaign following 16 seasons, all with the Giants.
Manning outlasted Brady in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI, throwing fourth-quarter touchdown passes to lead the Giants past the New England Patriots both times. He was named the MVP in each contest.
The folks at Twitter appeared to know of Manning's imminent arrival on the platform at least one day before he landed.

Manning may have been preparing to enter the Twittersphere for a while, as former teammate Lawrence Tynes posted in January that the longtime signal-caller would be activating an account in the "near future."
According to my sources, Eli will in fact be activating a twitter account in the near future. #GiantsPride
