Lamar Jackson says 'Drake curse' is 'BS'
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson isn't afraid of being cursed by Drake.
Jackson dismissed both the "Drake curse" and the "Madden curse" while discussing his Madden 21 cover on the latest episode of Complex's "Load Management" podcast.
"Listen, the 'Drake curse' is BS too ... (the Toronto Raptors) just won an NBA championship," Jackson said.
Drake has been accused of cursing numerous players and teams over the years, though some believe the curse was broken by the Raptors winning their first NBA championship in 2019.
Ravens fans became concerned Jackson may have fallen victim to the curse in January after Drake wished him a happy birthday on Instagram. Days after Drake's message, the Ravens were upset 28-12 by the Tennessee Titans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
