The Philadelphia Eagles moved right tackle Lane Johnson and two other players to the COVID-19/reserve list Wednesday, the team announced.
Johnson quickly revealed he tested positive for COVID-19. The reserve list is for players who either tested positive or come in contact with an infected person. Teams are not required to reveal the reason why a player is on the list.
Linebacker Nathan Gerry and offensive tackle Jordan Mailata joined Johnson.
The Pro Bowl right tackle is the key member of an Eagles offensive line that's already lost guard Brandon Brooks for the season due to injury.
Johnson has started 92 regular-season games since being selected by Philadelphia fourth overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.
