A recent survey found that fans are split when it comes to attending NFL games this season.

Casino.org surveyed more than 1,000 football fans to find out how they felt about attending games during the COVID-19 pandemic. A little over half (52.3%) said they would attend if given the opportunity, while 41.2% said they wouldn't due to concerns about the coronavirus.

Other finds from the survey:

  • The San Francisco 49ers had the highest percentage of fans say they wouldn't attend games at 38.3%, while Arizona Cardinals fans were the lowest at 15%
  • A majority of fans (66.5%) said they would attend games knowing masks were mandatory
  • Dallas Cowboys fans (26.5%) were least likely to attend games if they have to wear masks

As of now, it's still up in the air whether fans will be able to attend NFL games when the season starts. Several teams have announced plans for reduced capacity, while others said they won't permit fans for at least the month of September.
