Report: Raiders' Williams has torn labrum
Las Vegas Raiders receiver Tyrell Williams has a torn labrum in his shoulder, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Williams will try to play through the injury after undergoing rehab, according to Rapoport.
The five-year pro took over the role of No. 1 receiver for the Raiders after Antonio Brown's release and went on to catch 42 passes for 651 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games. Tight end Darren Waller led the team's pass-catchers with 90 grabs and 1,145 yards.
The Raiders bolstered their receiving group by using the 12th overall pick in this year's draft on speedster Henry Ruggs. Should Williams miss any time due to the injury, Ruggs, Hunter Renfrow, Zay Jones, Nelson Agholor, and rookie Bryan Edwards would all move up a spot on the depth chart.
