Christian Kirksey's debut season with the Green Bay Packers is off to a good start, as he got to celebrate his first career Week 1 win after six seasons with the Cleveland Browns.
"This is the first time ever in my career being 1-0. I definitely got a kick out of that," the linebacker said Wednesday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Kirksey, who joined the Packers on a two-year, $16-million deal in March, recorded a team-high 12 tackles, including six solo, in Green Bay's 43-34 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens blew out the Browns 38-6 in Cleveland's season opener, extending the club's Week 1 winless streak to 16 years.
