Andy Reid is giving the face shield that captured the internet's heart another shot.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach will wear the personal protection equipment in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. But to avoid another night of being a meme, Reid will use a product to defog the shield, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Chiefs equipment manager Allen Wright secured the defogging product, which is used by hockey players on their masks.
With Kansas City leading comfortably over the Houston Texas in the league's season opener, Reid's visibility issues had become the biggest talking point of the game.
The NFL sent a reminder to all teams about requiring all coaches to wear a face covering on the sidelines following Week 1.
