Was Mahomes' 1-2-3-4 count vs. Ravens a shot at NFL 100 ranking?
Patrick Mahomes doesn't seem to have forgotten where his fellow players ranked him this offseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback lit up the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, outclassing reigning MVP Lamar Jackson, who also earned the No. 1 spot on the NFL Top 100 in July.
Mahomes, meanwhile, came in fourth behind second-place Russell Wilson and third-place Aaron Donald.
With the NFL world watching, the two-time Pro Bowler seemingly expressed his feelings about the ranking once again:

Some assumed Mahomes was counting off his number of touchdowns, but he was actually up to five scores - four passing and one rushing - at that stage of the 34-20 win.
While a smiling Mahomes didn't admit to his trolling postgame, his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, couldn't resist a dig on Twitter:
Asked Mahomes if him counting to four was about his NFL Top-100 ranking. "I think I had four touchdowns at that point," he said, with an obvious smile.

Mahomes has a history of mid-game trolling.
Last season, the Chiefs signal-caller counted to 10 - where he was taken during the 2017 draft - after throwing a touchdown pass in a game against Mitchell Trubisky, the only quarterback selected ahead of him that year.
Maybe giving Mahomes - who became the fastest player ever to reach 10,000 passing yards on Monday - extra motivation isn't the smartest idea.
