The NFL will reschedule the game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers to later this season after two more positive Tennessee tests - one player and one personnel member - were reported Thursday, the league announced, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

"An announcement of the new game date will be made shortly," the NFL said.

The league added that Tennessee's facility would remain closed "until further notice."

The Titans total now stands at 11 after the AFC South team recorded positive COVID-19 tests for four players and five personnel earlier in the week.

Moving the game from Sunday to either Monday or Tuesday to allow for more testing and contact tracing was under consideration by the league prior to Thursday's announcement.

The Titans-Steelers game is the first major test for the NFL's planned response to rework its schedule amid the pandemic.

The Minnesota Vikings - who hosted the Titans in Week 3 - haven't had any positive tests as of Wednesday.
