Steelers to play Titans in Week 7, Ravens in Week 8
The NFL announced major scheduling changes amid the Tennessee Titans' recent string of positive COVID-19 tests, moving Tennessee's Week 4 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers to Week 7.
Pittsburgh was slated to face the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 25, but the AFC North clash has been moved to Week 8. The Steelers and Titans will now have their byes in Week 4, while the Ravens' bye will take place in Week 7.
The NFL had initially considered moving the Steelers' Week 4 tilt with Tennessee to either Monday or Tuesday, but recent test results forced the league to err on the side of caution. Thirteen individuals within the Titans organization have tested positive so far after two more players reportedly tested positive Friday.
Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday his team would be ready if it had to play games in 13 straight weeks, claiming the Steelers "don't care" if recent test results impact their schedule.
The Minnesota Vikings - who hosted the Titans in Week 3 - haven't confirmed any positive tests as of Friday.
