NFL Power Rankings - Week 6: A standout rookie for each team
The NFL Power Rankings are selected by a panel of theScore's football editors.
1. Seattle Seahawks (5-0)
Previous rank: 3
Damien Lewis won a starting job at right guard in training camp and has quickly cemented himself as an invaluable component of the Seahawks' offensive line.
2. Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
Previous rank: 1
L'Jarius Sneed was arguably the Chiefs' most reliable cornerback before he landed on injured reserve with a broken collarbone.
3. Green Bay Packers (4-0)
Previous rank: 2
Krys Barnes' athleticism at linebacker has been an important asset to a Packers defense that entered the season needing to replace Blake Martinez and improve against the run.
4. Tennessee Titans (4-0)
Previous rank: 8
Kristian Fulton had an interception in Week 2 and notched a pivotal sack of Kirk Cousins in Week 3. The second-round defensive back could turn out to be a steal.
5. Baltimore Ravens (4-1)
Previous rank: 5
Patrick Queen is up to 42 tackles, two forced fumbles, two sacks, and one touchdown, putting the linebacker on pace for a gigantic statistical season.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-0)
Previous rank: 7
Chase Claypool is here because of his four-touchdown outing in Week 5, but he had produced a few eye-popping plays before that, including an 84-yard score against the Denver Broncos.
7. Los Angeles Rams (4-1)
Previous rank: 9
Jordan Fuller has helped stabilize a Rams defense that was on the ropes more often than not last year. Los Angeles ranks second in pass defense and third in points allowed per game this season.
8. Buffalo Bills (4-1)
Previous rank: 4
Gabriel Davis has a couple of touchdowns and a few splash plays to his name. However, the Bills haven't given any of their rookies a ton of opportunities.
9. New Orleans Saints (3-2)
Previous rank: 10
Cesar Ruiz hasn't been outstanding, but the Saints don't have many rookies after selecting only four players in the draft.
10. Cleveland Browns (4-1)
Previous rank: 12
Jedrick Wills has been a massive upgrade over Greg Robinson, allowing the Browns' offense to take off with him at left tackle.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)
Previous rank: 6
Antoine Winfield Jr. has produced highlights in coverage, run defense, and rushing the passer, making him a prime contender for the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award.
12. Las Vegas Raiders (3-2)
Previous rank: 18
Henry Ruggs has been limited by injuries, but Raiders fans have already seen the speedster's mouth-watering big-play potential. The first-rounder burned the Chiefs with two receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown in a Week 5 win.
13. New England Patriots (2-2)
Previous rank: 13
Michael Onwenu has quietly become a Bill Belichick favorite, earning snaps at left guard, right guard, and right tackle in light of the Patriots' injury issues up front.
14. Chicago Bears (4-1)
Previous rank: 16
Jaylon Johnson has held his own as the No. 2 cornerback in Chicago, although he's taken a step back recently after a fairly hot start.
15. Indianapolis Colts (3-2)
Previous rank: 11
Jonathan Taylor has responded to being thrust into a featured role following Marlon Mack's injury with 285 yards and three touchdowns on the ground over his last four games.
16. Arizona Cardinals (3-2)
Previous rank: 15
Rashard Lawrence has three tackles. His presence on this list should tell you how this Cardinals draft class is - or isn't - coming along.
17. Carolina Panthers (3-2)
Previous rank: 17
Jeremy Chinn has evolved into a playmaker for the Panthers, who moved him to linebacker after drafting him as a safety. He leads the team with 44 tackles.
18. San Francisco 49ers (2-3)
Previous rank: 14
Brandon Aiyuk has two touchdowns in four appearances, and 12 of his 16 touches have resulted in first downs. The dynamic receiver has been one of the few positives for the 49ers offensively.
19. Dallas Cowboys (2-3)
Previous rank: 19
CeeDee Lamb leads the Cowboys in receiving despite playing alongside a pair of 1,000-yard wideouts in Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup.
20. Philadelphia Eagles (1-3-1)
Previous rank: 21
K'Von Wallace has stayed healthy (knock on wood), and in Philadelphia - where players drop like flies - the best ability is availability.
21. Miami Dolphins (2-3)
Previous rank: 25
Brandon Jones might be the best player, thus far, from the Dolphins' somewhat disappointing rookie class. Of course, this could easily change if Tua Tagovailoa ever gets to play.
22. Houston Texans (1-4)
Previous rank: 26
Ross Blacklock leads all Texans rookies in snaps, but nobody in Houston's class has really delivered yet.
23. Minnesota Vikings (1-4)
Previous rank: 20
Justin Jefferson has filled Stefon Diggs' shoes as well as anyone could have expected. The LSU product's 371 yards top Adam Thielen, though Thielen has six touchdown catches to Jefferson's one.
24. Los Angeles Chargers (1-4)
Previous rank: 22
Justin Herbert only needed three games for the Chargers to decide Tyrod Taylor wasn't going to get his job back, and he nearly beat the Saints on the road in his fourth.
25. Detroit Lions (1-3)
Previous rank: 23
Jonah Jackson has been a solid addition to the Lions' offensive line. However, Detroit is still waiting for its top three picks - Jeff Okudah, D'Andre Swift, and Julian Okwara - to make an impact.
26. Denver Broncos (1-3)
Previous rank: 28
Jerry Jeudy posted at least 50 yards in each of his first four games before the bye, and he's been more sure-handed since his multi-drop debut.
27. Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1)
Previous rank: 24
Joe Burrow looks to be the real deal, and that's all that truly matters for the Bengals as they continue their rebuild.
28. Atlanta Falcons (0-5)
Previous rank: 29
Mykal Walker has had his moments, but obviously not enough of them to put out the dumpster fire that engulfs the Falcons' defense.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4)
Previous rank: 27
James Robinson leads all rookies with 516 scrimmage yards through the first five weeks. The Jaguars' early-round rookies have shown promise, but the first-year player who stands out most wasn't even drafted.
30. Washington Football Team (1-4)
Previous rank: 30
Antonio Gibson leads Washington in touchdowns and gets the nod over No. 2 overall pick Chase Young, who's been slowed lately by a groin injury.
31. New York Giants (0-5)
Previous rank: 31
Andrew Thomas hasn't been great, but have you seen the other members of the Giants' rookie class?
32. New York Jets (0-5)
Previous rank: 32
Mekhi Becton looks to be the Jets' left tackle of the future. There haven't been many silver linings for New York this year, but he is one of them.
