Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield underwent X-rays after suffering a rib injury Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts, and the results came back negative, according to Andrew Gribble of ClevelandBrowns.com.
Mayfield took a shot to the midsection while throwing an interception in the second half. He received attention in the medical tent, but the signal-caller didn't miss a snap.
Mayfield led the Browns to their fourth win in five games, giving the club its best start through five weeks since 1994 when Cleveland was also 4-1.
The 2018 No. 1 pick completed 21 of 37 pass attempts against the Colts for 247 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions.
For the season, Mayfield has recorded nine touchdowns and four picks.
