Report: Titans cleared to play Bills after no new positive tests
The Tennessee Titans returned no new positive COVID-19 tests Monday, clearing them to face the Buffalo Bills in the NFL's first Tuesday game since 2010, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is expected to be in the lineup after missing two games with a bone bruise in his knee, according to Pelissero.
Tennessee hasn't seen action since Week 3. The Titans learned after their last game against the Minnesota Vikings that three players and five staffers had tested positive for the virus, and over 20 individuals within the organization eventually tested positive.
The NFL is investigating the Titans over the outbreak, as players allegedly broke COVID-19 protocols by working out as a team away from the facility despite orders not to do so.
The outbreak led the NFL to postpone the Titans' Week 4 game, moving their clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers to Week 7.
Tennessee and Buffalo will partake in the first Tuesday contest since the Philadelphia Eagles faced the Vikings following a blizzard that caused the roof of Minneapolis' Metrodome to collapse.
