The Minnesota Vikings don't expect running back Dalvin Cook to be available against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6 due to an adductor strain, a source told The Athletic's Chad Graff.
The Vikings will have a bye in Week 7 and can re-evaluate Cook's health coming out of the break.
Cook left Sunday Night Football versus the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 with what the team called a groin injury. The 25-year-old has 489 yards and seven touchdowns - both of which lead the NFL - on 92 carries this season.
Minnesota has dropped four of its first five games to open the season.
