Green Bay Packers linebacker Krys Barnes tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday after participating in Thursday night's win over the San Francisco 49ers, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Packers moved Barnes and rookie quarterback Jordan Love to the COVID-19 reserve Friday.

Barnes, who left the game in the first half due to a calf injury, is reportedly not experiencing symptoms.

The Packers were missing three players from their active roster - linebacker Kamal Martin and running backs A.J. Dillon and Jamaal Williams - against the 49ers because of COVID-19 protocols.

San Francisco also had four players - left tackle Trent Williams and wideouts Brandon Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne, and Deebo Samuel - on the reserve/COVID-19 list entering the game.

The 49ers had no new positive tests Friday, added Schefter.

Results of game-day coronavirus tests are generally not returned ahead of kickoff.
