Dolphins place Van Noy, 2 others on COVID-19 list
The Miami Dolphins placed linebacker Kyle Van Noy, defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, and wide receiver Matt Cole on the COVID-19 reserve, the team announced Thursday.
The Dolphins removed wide receiver Lynn Bowden from the list following a six-day stint.
Miami will look for its fifth straight win when it faces the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10.
Van Noy, a marquee offseason acquisition from the New England Patriots, has 33 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in seven appearances.
Wilkins, a first-round pick from Clemson in 2019, has 28 tackles and a sack over eight contests.
Cole, an undrafted rookie, is on the practice squad.
The Dolphins have encountered multiple COVID-19 issues over the past week. After an assistant coach tested positive, he and four others on the staff missed Miami's win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9.
