Denver Broncos cornerback A.J. Bouye is facing a suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs, a source told NFL Network's James Palmer.

Bouye took a supplement connected to the six-game bans that Will Fuller and Bradley Roby of the Houston Texans received last week, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

The eight-year veteran has completed his appeal, according to Klis. The Broncos are already without two of their top three cornerbacks, as Bryce Callahan and Essang Bassey are on the shelf with injuries.

Bouye has recorded 23 tackles and six pass breakups over seven appearances this season. The Broncos acquired him from the Jacksonville Jaguars in March, sending a fourth-round pick the other way.

Undrafted out of UCF in 2013, Bouye made the Pro Bowl with the Jaguars in 2017. The 29-year-old is in the fourth season of a five-year, $67.5-million contract.
