The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants are taking their Week 15 battle to Sunday Night Football, as the NFL announced Wednesday the game has been moved to prime time.

The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers were originally slated to square off that night on NBC, but will instead meet at 1 p.m. ET. on CBS. Additionally, the league set kickoff between the New York Jets and Los Angeles Rams for 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Browns-Giants flex marks the first time this season the NFL has changed the Sunday Night Football schedule to feature a more nationally relevant game. Previously, the league altered the Sunday Night Football slate for reasons related to COVID-19.

Cleveland and New York have both leaped into playoff contention and still have paths to division titles, making the Week 15 affair one of the more interesting contests on the schedule.

The Browns came into the season with two national TV games, one of which was part of the Thursday Night Football package. Cleveland will face the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 14 before meeting the Giants six days later.

The Giants have also yet to appear on Sunday Night Football this season, previously playing twice on Monday Night Football and once on Thursday Night Football.
