Vikings to evaluate kicker situation as Bailey misses 4 more attempts
Minnesota Vikings kicker Dan Bailey had a historically poor outing in Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Bailey missed all three of his field-goal attempts and also failed to convert on his only extra-point attempt in Week 14.
He's missed seven kicks over his last two games after failing on two extra points and one field goal last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"We'll have to decide (our kicking situation) as we move forward," Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer told reporters following the loss, according to The Athletic's Chad Graff.
"At this point in time, we're not really worried about feelings anymore," Zimmer added.
The last player to miss at least three field goals and an extra point without converting any other attempt was John Aveni for Washington in 1961, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
Minnesota fell out of a playoff spot with the defeat, dropping to 6-7.
