Report: ESPN analyst Riddick to interview for Jaguars' GM position
Louis Riddick continues to be a hot general manager candidate.
The ESPN analyst will interview Wednesday for the Jacksonville Jaguars' general manager job, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.
Riddick has already interviewed for the same position with the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. The former pro scout is reportedly a candidate for the Atlanta Falcons' opening, too.
The 51-year-old, who previously worked as director of pro personnel for the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Football Team, is currently in his first year in the Monday Night Football booth.
Jacksonville is seeking a new general manager after firing Dave Caldwell at the end of November. Caldwell held the role since 2013.
If the Jaguars hire him, Riddick could lead the team holding the No. 1 pick in April's draft.
The AFC South club is now the favorite for the top spot - and to potentially use it on Clemson star quarterback Trevor Lawrence - after the New York Jets stunned the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, earning their first win.
Both teams sit at 1-13, but Jacksonville owns the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker.
