The Los Angeles Chargers placed tight end Hunter Henry on the COVID-19 list Thursday, head coach Anthony Lynn told reporters, according to The Athletic's Daniel Popper.

Additionally, Lynn said wide receiver Keenan Allen would likely be a game-time decision Sunday versus the Denver Broncos due to a hamstring injury.

Lynn didn't say whether Henry tested positive for COVID-19 or was a close contact of someone who did, but the team expects him to miss Week 16. The 26-year-old has played in all 14 contests this year after missing time the last two seasons with injuries.

Allen played Dec. 17 against the Las Vegas Raiders, but the bad hamstring noticeably slowed him and the veteran wideout ended up finishing with only one catch for 17 yards. The 28-year-old, who was selected to the Pro Bowl this season for the fourth time in his career, has 992 yards with eight touchdowns across 14 outings.

The Chargers will take a 5-9 record into their meeting with the Broncos, who own an identical mark.
