Bears' Robinson on pending free agency: 'Everything is on the table'

Allen Robinson is keeping his options open after playing out the final year of his current contract.

The Chicago Bears wide receiver told reporters on Monday "everything is on the table" as he looks toward free agency for the second time in his career, according to 670 The Score's Chris Emma.

Despite being happy in Chicago, Robinson admitted he was frustrated the two sides were unable to work out a long-term deal over the last year.

"I personally feel like we had an opportunity to be able to get something done over the past 365 days," Robinson said, via ESPN's Jeff Dickerson.

"I do have a great fondness for this city and for this organization," he added, per Emma. "Unfortunately, in a (contract) situation like this, that's not the only thing that matters ... There are more things that weigh out than just the fondness of something."

It's currently unknown how aggressively Chicago will pursue re-signing Robinson, but the team could also use the franchise tag on him. The 27-year-old wasn't intent on revealing his feelings on the tag.

"I plead the fifth on that," Robinson said.

The veteran wideout signed a three-year, $42-million contract with the Bears in 2018. He enjoyed his most productive season since 2015 this past year, catching 102 passes for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns.
