Adams asked Ramsey to shadow him all game
Most receivers don't seek out a matchup with lockdown corner Jalen Ramsey, but Davante Adams isn't like most wideouts.
The Green Bay Packers receiver approached the Los Angeles Rams defender before Saturday's playoff game and suggested the two All-Pros match up head-to-head throughout the contest.
Davante Adams had simple request for Jalen Ramsey before the game before the two got separated:

"It wasn't in a disrespectful way or nothing like that because I respect Jalen as a player. I just said, 'I'm not some of the dudes that you've covered, I just want you to come with me and follow me everywhere,'" Adams said.
"Let's give the people what they came here for."
The sight of Adams and Ramsey jawing before the game quickly got the attention of officials.

"By the time I said that, there were literally police and ambulance and shit coming out on the field, trying to break up something that wasn't even crazy like that," Adams said.
The matchup was a major storyline going into the game as it pitted a receiver with a league-leading 18 touchdowns this season against a corner that only allowed an average of 23 yards completed against him per contest.
However, Adams got the better of Ramsey, finishing the game with nine receptions for 66 yards and a one-yard touchdown caught against the corner in coverage.
