Cardinals add Rondale Moore to offense
The Arizona Cardinals selected wide receiver Rondale Moore out of Purdue at No. 49 in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Cardinals needed to add to their pass-catching group to ease the pressure off star wideout DeAndre Hopkins.
The former Houston Texans standout led the team with 115 receptions for 1,407 yards and six touchdowns during his first season in Arizona. Christian Kirk was second with 48 catches for 621 yards and six scores.
Franchise legend Larry Fitzgerald is believed to be considering retirement, which would further diminish the Cardinals' depth at the position.
Moore should immediately challenge 2019 draft picks Andy Isabella and KeeSean Johnson for snaps during his rookie season.

Standing 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds, Moore doesn't fit the mold of a No. 1 receiver by any stretch of the imagination. However, his raw traits are so rare that we'd bet on the 20-year-old developing into a top-tier playmaker. With speed, ball skills, and athleticism you simply can't teach, Moore can succeed early in his career while separating downfield and creating chunk yardage after the catch. Opposing coaches will be up all night trying to figure out how to slow him down, as he can win any matchup in space. More so than his size concerns, Moore's biggest NFL hurdle will be staying healthy.
