Brady wants championship rematch vs. Giants
Tom Brady is still out for revenge against the New York Giants after losing two Super Bowls to Eli Manning and Co.
Brady brought up the New England Patriots' losses in Super Bowl XLII and XLVI on Tuesday's episode of "The Complex Sports Podcast," admitting he'd like to face the Giants again on the big stage.
"I gotta figure out how to beat the Giants someday," Brady said. "We gotta have some type of rematch now that I'm in Tampa in a championship game."
The Giants upset Brady and the then-undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in 2008 by a score of 17-14 and beat them again four years later. Manning stated earlier this year that the first loss particularly stung for Brady.
"He actually brings it up," Manning said in an interview with Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. "It still bothers him a little bit, especially the '07 one when they had the chance to go down as the greatest team of all time."
