Tim Tebow's surprise NFL return is prompting at least one other former player to attempt a similar comeback.
Former New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said he's also willing to change positions to make his old team again.
Jacobs last took an NFL snap in 2013 before retiring in 2014. He played for the Giants for eight seasons and appeared in two games with the San Francisco 49ers. The 6-foot-4 power runner helped New York win two Super Bowls.
Jacobs turns 39 years old in early July.
Tebow signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason following a nine-year hiatus from the league. The 33-year-old is attempting to make the team as a tight end after being drafted in 2010 as a quarterback.
