Mahomes gets advice from Brady, Rodgers: 'All us guys talk'
Patrick Mahomes has already accomplished a lot in his short NFL career, but he's still eager to learn from other quarterbacks.
The Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller reaches out to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers for advice, he told The Ringer's Kevin Clark.
"I think people don't realize all us guys talk. I talk to Aaron, I talk to Tom, and they're willing to give me advice," Mahomes said. "I'm still a young guy in this league. I'm still trying to learn how to continue to have success every single year, and so being able to talk like that with the guys is definitely a good thing."
Mahomes has earned a Super Bowl win, a Super Bowl MVP Award, an NFL MVP Award, and three Pro Bowl selections over his four seasons with the Chiefs. His goal for the 2021 campaign, which he shared in May, is to lead the Chiefs to a 20-0 record.
"That's just the beauty of football is every single year, the year starts over no matter if you win or lose the Super Bowl," Mahomes told Clark. "So we got a brand-new year, brand-new team, and we're ready to go out there and make a run at it."
