Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins will miss the 2021 season after suffering a torn ACL in the team's preseason finale Saturday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Dobbins, a 2020 second-round pick, was carted off as Baltimore won a record-breaking 20th straight preseason game with a 37-3 rout of the Washington Football Team.
The 22-year-old was expected to lead the Ravens' rushing attack after producing 805 yards - second on the team to quarterback Lamar Jackson - and nine touchdowns during his rookie campaign.
Gus Edwards will likely move into the starting role. Edwards had 723 yards and six touchdowns last year.
