The Tennessee Titans activated quarterback Ryan Tannehill from the COVID-19 list, the team announced Saturday.
Tannehill can now resume practicing with the club and is on track to play in the regular-season opener against the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday.
Tennessee placed Tannehill on the reserve list on Aug. 26. He was one of seven players to hit the COVID-19 list as the Titans dealt with an outbreak following their preseason finale. Head coach Mike Vrabel tested positive last month as well.
The Titans also activated backup running back Jeremy McNichols on Saturday.
