Beckham to be game-time decision vs. Chiefs
Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will be a game-time decision for his team's Week 1 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
"We'll let you know 90 minutes before the game," Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said of Beckham's Week 1 status Friday, according to ESPN's Jake Trotter.
The 28-year-old wideout suffered a torn ACL last October. He's been limited in practice all week, and the Browns will wait to see how he feels during pregame warmups before determining his availability, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Beckham hasn't had any contact all summer, according to Schefter, and didn't participate in any preseason games.
Beckham is entering his third season with the Browns. He recorded 74 catches for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns in 2019, and he had 23 grabs for 319 yards and three scores in seven games before his injury last year.
