Saints' Lattimore to be game-time decision vs. Panthers
New Orleans Saints star corner Marshon Lattimore will likely be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers as he manages a thumb injury, head coach Sean Payton said Friday, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.
Lattimore, who was officially listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, picked up the injury in Week 1's win over the Green Bay Packers and subsequently underwent surgery. He is considered week-to-week.
The three-time Pro Bowler recorded three tackles and one pass defensed in the season opener. He had 62 tackles and two interceptions in 14 games last season.
If Lattimore is unable to play, stopping Panthers wideouts DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, and Terrace Marshall will fall on Ken Crawley, Desmond Trufant, and Paulson Adebo.
