Eagles' Hurts after MNF: You take a deuce 'you flush it and move on'
Jalen Hurts won't dwell on his forgettable outing against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns, but he also finished with two interceptions and took two sacks during a convincing 41-21 defeat. He's ready to move on to the next game.
"You take you a deuce, you don't sit there and look at it. You flush it and move on. We gon' flush it and move on," Hurts said postgame.
The 2020 second-round pick has logged seven career starts. After taking over for an ineffective Carson Wentz late last season, Hurts entered this campaign as the Eagles' unquestioned starter.
He threw three touchdown passes during a blowout of the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, but then followed with just 190 passing yards in a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Eagles will host the 1-2 Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
