Report: Jets' Maye out 3-4 weeks with ankle injury

New York Jets franchise tagged free safety Marcus Maye is out three-to-four weeks with an ankle injury, a source tells Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Maye has been a top performer on the Jets defense with 23 tackles this season, including a team-leading 16 solo tackles and one sack in three games.
Since joining the Jets in 2017, Maye has started in all 57 games he has played, recording 289 combined tackles, 205 solo tackles, seven tackles for loss and six interceptions.
The 28-year-old did not practice with the team ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Maye finished the game against the Denver Broncos, with his ankle giving out after.
