Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is expected to miss only the three games required by a stint on injured reserve and return for Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Tagovailoa was placed on IR with fractured ribs Sept. 25, and backup Jacoby Brissett has started in his place.
Tagovailoa will also miss Sunday's contest against the Indianapolis Colts and next week's road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brissett and the Dolphins forced overtime but ultimately lost 31-28 to the Las Vegas Raiders last week.
