Rodgers ready to duel Wilson, Seahawks after stint on COVID-19 list
The Green Bay Packers activated quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the COVID-19 list Saturday, clearing him to face Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10.
Rodgers spent 10 days in quarantine and missed one contest after testing positive for COVID-19. He participated in virtual meetings in the lead-up to the Seahawks game.
Wilson is coming off an absence of his own due to finger surgery. He missed three games, and the Seahawks went 1-2 with Geno Smith at the helm.
Rodgers revealed after testing positive that he never got the vaccine despite telling reporters in August that he was "immunized." He later claimed "full responsibility" for his misleading statement.
The 37-year-old has thrown for 1,894 yards with 17 touchdowns and three interceptions this season, and the Packers are 7-1 in his starts. Jordan Love threw for 190 yards with a touchdown and an interception apiece versus the Kansas City Chiefs during a losing effort in Week 9.
